he world of publishing is far from dead. At least if you’re into the best of what can be done with ink and paper. The annual book fair at PS1 in Queens included alternative publishing initiatives from around the world, as well as from around NY and the USA. Art book publishers such as Esopus ran side-by-side with LGBTQ publications, broadsheets, poetry chapbooks, limited editions with tipped-in prints and more than you’re going to find in any of the biggest and best bookstores… Overwhelming for any would-be buyer who didn’t go with a particular purchase in mind.
